Love

How does one describe sight to a blind person?  color to the color blind?  Love to a race that has never experienced it in full in all of its varied and most magnificent forms?

Even worse, how does one that has only barely sensed love's tremendous essence explain to humanity that it has yet to know what love is all about?

To me, love is exactly like all of the other finer qualities of humanity that we define so well but barely experience in life in all ways but one.  Honour, integrity, dignity, grace, respect for everyone and everything one encounters, and many, many more extraordinary attributes are seldom encountered in life and, yet, we know they can exist.  So, why is it that they are rarely experienced?  Why are they not the most common characteristics?  Because we are not human yet.

The one difference from all of the other finer characteristics of humanity is that we can't even define love very well.  In all other ways, it is just like the other fine qualities.  We won't know love well until we become fully human.  At that point, we will also be able to define it well.  I am fairly certain, none of those qualities, including love, would even be in our vocabulary, if it weren't for women.  Men have been the limiting factor.

If one is lucky, they might experience a hint of what love is all about, just as they may experience a smidgeon of the other finer qualities of being human.  But, it is small in comparison to the grand potential that humanity can experience, once we rid ourselves of our past that holds us back.

Some believe that love is nothing but a pipe dream.  Others believe that love is validation of themselves in others.  Some believe it is but a scam.  All are wrong.  It is the blind trying to see.  Love is something that only a fully formed sentient, human being can experience and celebrate thoroughly.  There are too many missing parts for the prehuman to even sense the sentient reality of love.

This has not been proofread yet and I may have more to add.

I've now gone beyond the broad swathes of what it means to be human, into the finer essence.  I've gone beyond identifying the awful prehuman characteristics that everyone takes for granted, like violence, misogyny, hate, and lie, lie, lie, lie.

Here is the difference between now and before Human.

Before that book,  I felt this desperate need to express it all in words.  No longer.  Oh, sure, if I figure it out to the extent that I can put it into words, I'll explain but the pressure is off.  I have explained enough.  There's also this saying.  Ideas never die.  Once they take hold, they will come to fruition.  So, I am content, It will get through because it is the truth.  While a lot of it is poorly worded, it will do.
