Crisis of Identity
The human race remains in the midst of an identity crisis that began the moment we first gained our heightened sentient awareness, creativity, imagination, and the ability to communicate far beyond the bounds of an animal.
Human life remains ensnared in a trap set long before humanity ever walked the Earth. We have been bombarded by gibberish created by our most ancient and witless ancestors that were dumber than a rock, bewildered by their sentience, and leaning on their animal legacy to explain that which they did not understand. Our more recent ancestors remain bewildered by the stupour set down ages ago that obscures our way forward. It is a crisis of identity of a race that has outgrown its witless roots.
A sentient race can only attain its sanity, emotional maturity, and fulfill its noble qualities once the male gender learns to love. Those are the hallmark of a truly sentient race.
Emotional upheaval is the hallmark of a race that is not yet sentient.
Imagine our emerging sentient state as a child that had to make it all up as it went along without the slightest hint as to what it means to be Human. The complexity and confusion rendered the task nearly incomprehensible. We attacked it like an animal. Of course. The animal instincts still reign in that most important effort to express our Human love.
Make no mistake. We knew what was missing all along.
That is what made the last three millennia so difficult. It confounded our sentient awareness. Paranoia, hate, and misinformation went on a rampage. We saw that coitus should be a loving event, but it seemed unattainable. So we shunted the thought aside with prejudice and, with it, our sentience.
Identity crisis.
If you have a pervasive feeling that all is not right, that would be correct. Welcome to the first stirrings of your Humanity.
The crucial inspection that has always been required is not about muons, wavicles, protons, neutrons, quarks, quasars, quadratic equations, fashion, ecology, governments, marketplaces, economics, the supernatural, hair care products, your navel, or the individual quirks of individual representatives of humanity. The crucial inspection is of humanity itself. Clarity regarding our own sentient state, far beyond the stupoured domain of the animal, is required.
We have never before been situated to answer the question that is ever-present. What is wrong with humanity and how do we correct it? The question could only be asked in the presence of the answer.
This is our crisis of identity. We still identify with the animal.
